The aspect of measuring success at the university level, most of the students think that success in school or university is achieving good grades, but some times we can notice that the student who are achieving higher grades are unhappy in comparison to average student or above average students. So instead of considering getting higher grade as a success I would like to consider that the student who finds going to university and studying fun because that is ultimately the goal if he or she is going to study that is going to help him or her as in getting good grades so here are some causes because if which anyone can get success at the university level grades

Do not comprise with time management and start right away. When we postpone some of the student work it temporarily feels like reducing the study stress, but actually when we postpone some work especially in the study so study time. Peer pressure can also be a cause because when we have good friends they help us to motivate us to study, they can help us by motivating good friend circle can also help in a group study, we can get their ideas and share our ideas to them. Do not miss any classes because when we are going to class regularly and taking notes properly help us when we are doing revision for exams or for normal class and it is easy for us to summarize at last and main points helps to remember important lot of things.

A student needs to have communication skills to convey the things he or she knows.  They should know how to present yourself no matter if the presentation is under pressure because there will be times when we have to present in pressure and they should also ask his or her peer or teacher for the scope of betterment and should try not to make that mistake again. So, this was some of the causes for success at university level.

When we talk about good grades. Grades in middle school does not really matters  middle is just for our own learning but grades in high school and colleges actually matters which helps a student to get confidence that he or she have a proper knowledge about the topic he or she gain respect in front of teachers, student and other faculty staff it also helps in getting scholarship from a specific institution,

Success in university level just does help in university only it also helps us getting in contact with great employers and get a good job with good salary and better position.

I would like to talk about grades in perspective of high school. Some people does think that grades does not matter so much. I would like to say that high school grades does matter because the very first benefit of having good grades is that getting good grades means you have appropriate knowledge of the subject which leads to have confidence and that confidence helps us in boosting the confidence. Second reason is that when we have our GPA is higher then 3.5 then we get scholarship  so grades are the factor  so as per the grades college decide if they want to use their scholar funding for which student.

1. Make a study plan

The very first thing a student has to do is that they should  save the dates for their exams and some projects or some kind of submission dates. To do all this I will recommend that a student should have a physical calendar so it is easy to see and a student should review all the topic that he/she have studied in week and they should see if any test or submission is there and first it will feel like this is time consuming but actually it just take 15 to 30 min a week but if we have planned it properly and we follows it it actually saves and invest our time in areas we really need.

2. Organizing study material

Organizing things makes work a lot easier, when we organizing the study notes we should buy a binder which separate  the notes subject by subject in one binder only. And put all the notes which are presently in use put them first and next should be the notes which will be submitted soon or else you are working on it and revision things should be at last.

3. Take care of health

A student can not focus in class if they are not having a proper died or a specific amount of sleep there are three things that a student should focus on first is food, then sleep and should exercise or do yoga. For food eat more healthy food like fruits and for sleep if student is studying whole night and having sleep just for 4 or 5 hours it is not actually beneficial because a student should sleep for at least 8 hours it is also possible that some time we don’t know what is the time and go to bed late so don’t have efficient amount of sleep so set an alarm to sleep and wake up and exercise or yoga at least 30-45 minutes per week.

         4.Make a study group

making a study group is actually more helpful because we can share ideas on some of the topic or else we can share notes and if we are with someone we don’t get bored to and its easier to review for example if we are doing math and we are stuck on only one topic or sum and not able to solve it but at the same time if you are in group we can work together and solve that. It is actually disappointing when we are reviewing some topic and not able to find the answer

            5. Set up a distraction free area

it actually depend on individual student that how do they study if they can study well when they are in group or they can study alone but the first thing that they should make sure is that place is silent  and having peace

A student gets admission in college after completion of his or her high school or graduation equivalent degree, starting a college is like staring a new phase in life it feels like a new chapter in life. And students who have started their this new phase of life are guided through the courses they took through out their degree by professors and as per their performances. As we joint school we have a dream to have jobs ready after graduation. And it just doesn’t end there is competition in job and reputed job employers only hires college graduates and after all this for the candidates who get employed ends up getting paid low which make desire to go for higher education.

So the very first cause of completion of college education are getting well paid job immediately and can maintain better life quality. Then, it is possible that a graduate can get well paid job which can at same time enables a graduate to develop his or her life and hence makes society to live a better place to live in. but actually employers who are paying high wages prefer experienced candidates so, that makes it hard for fresh graduate to get better job easily and upon that there are a more than a million of people who are looking for better paid and reputed job and most of those are graduated before. so, it is really rough I searching a better life through the means of better job and all this issues makes graduate to compromise with abroad work or low paid wages at staring.

other effect of graduating from college depends on how student think if they want to plan for what to plan for work or want to continue with further studies. with higher education there is a possibilities to get better life and can advance their careers and venture into their area of interest, this students can can be the ones from ones for whom finding their desired job seems unsuccessful, so only option which looks favorable is to continue with higher education. That way students with diploma goes to bachelors degree, and those who have bachelors degree aspire for masters and so on. Attaining a higher education builds a sense of high social status whereby, those with master’s degree and doctorates always yearn for recognition from other people. Unfortunately, the requirements of getting a higher education are also high with the tuition fees keeping on rising at a high rate. This implies that one has to have enough funds for fees to pay for the expensive higher education.That’s why having higher education gives security that student will get a reputed job and better wage or salary.  At a same time higher education gives a high social status. Poverty as an individual person or state does not have enough money to provide its state resident basic needs is really huge issue from which people around the world are suffering from. Because of which the kids who are born in poverty, spend their childhood in poverty and grew in poverty have an effects which has long lasting effect and in some cases it stays for ever throughout the life time and the ones who are suffering with this problem mostly are kids or teens.

Some common effects of growing up in poverty are lack of hygiene so they get sick easily and poor health poor health cause malnutrition or some chronic disease other effect is lack of education and a high risk of pregnancy

Poverty is an factor which have a direct relation or effect with health issue or growing up in poverty, in most of the cases children living in poverty does not get adequate amount of health care or they do not have time to time health checkups and hence they have no proper immunization or vaccinations, so they suffer from bad health. This is the way growing up in poverty is the reason if child is malnourished or underdeveloped.As underdeveloped childhood results into some long term or chronic disease for adulthood

other effects of growing up in poverty is a that a lot of teenagers are having lack of access to resource or having lack of sex education, so this can be the reason why teenage girls who grew up in poverty can get pregnant at an early age and without any proper support girls have to stop their studies and continue to live in poverty which id difficult for both child and teenage parent

Kids or teenager who are living in poverty have higher chances to get dropped out of school because their parents have less or no involvement there is a possibility that their parents were also brought up in poverty so they have lack of education and they don’t give importance to give their child education properly and as there is lack of education or no involvement and as they are in bad company or going through a lot of mental stress so, they can get into crimes easily. As, teenage pregnancy rate is hight due to poverty children have to drop their school because they might have children of their own

I would like to start with a quote that Dr Khan always tells in his class is “Poverty is always by choice” by says that he wants all students to think that it is not only one thing which affects economy of 2nd most populous and a country where there is 26 different languages are being spoken. There are economic factors such as literacy rate, urban population rate, life expectance rate which affect some of them have direct relationship with development but some of them have inverse relationship.

The very first factor i would like to talk about is population of India have 130 crore of population which converts to 1.339 billion of population out of which 22% percent of population is under poverty line and lack of money leads to low literacy rate because of lack of awareness of literally in parents and lack of money children drop their school and start helping their parents to work.

Other factors that is affecting are corrupt governance in India 5 decades after independence that is after 1947 for 50 years it was only one party which was in power that is Indian National Congress. if we compare India with a small nation like Isreal who got independence a year after India have stronger economy and have less poverty in compare to India.

Now after more than 50 years of corrupt governance new generation and Indians have decided to give chance to a new government. it is a time when people says india is developing vastly economically and there is great infrastructure development also

Today, I am going to share my experience about this whole quarter an my class with Mr Peter Murray actually I started my class late because I registered late and I started with 2 day and on that day we had to write a blog on anyone in that class actually that was the day when I met a lot of new students even though I was in this college from last 5 quarters and this is my very first class with Mr.Peter Murray and I saw his way of teaching that makes easy for anyone in the class to understand and he goes to each and every student in class to ask them if they understood the topic and goes and help each one of us and he always promote us to ask questions in class and he asks students to ask questions through emails. and if i talk about personally myself i am an international student and my english is not my first language so i really am very worry for this class that how am i going to do on this class and it is almost some of the last classes reaming of this class and i feel like i have really learned a lot of things and i think this is really going to help me in future for not just bachelor or masters but throughout the life time and I really enjoyed the class and i always thought that i am a biology major english is just general education class for me but i will really take classes of english in future because it really helps

The classes which i am comparing today is Rhetoric and Style and Anatomy and Physiology. I am in this university from last one year and six month or more or less and i am majoring in biology and i would start with comparing the teaching methods of the professors of both the classes my professor for EN 151 which is Rhetoric and style is Mr.Peter Murray and my professor for BL 221 is Dr.Karishma Mukherjee. I would like to start with stating that whenever she comes in class there is an energy comes with her and she always want us to learn my seeing things such as when we are studying something about the bones she would take a skeleton or bones to show and try to make examples she tires to make abbreviation by which it is easy for students to remember quickly and as the class has co requisite which was anatomy and physiology lab she will always want each and every one of us to to lab and she will go to every student if the understood or else if they have any doubt about anything she have taught.

English is not my major, bout just because of Mr.Peter Murray and his teaching style makes class more enjoyable and easily understandable. he make class more fun by examples he give and and his style of giving hints

and other thing with i would like to compare the classes in size as well both of these class are also small in size so it is really easy for the interaction between teacher and student

I just heard of a incident happened in Chicago and I would like to share that. A pregnant lady who was just 19 years was murdered when she was about to give birth to her child. She was on a social media group for supporting mothers who are going through some financial crises. On that group she meet a lady who was 46 years old and living in neighbor to her just few blocks away and she offered her some clothes for her about to be baby and she invited her at her home she got her busy in showing her pictures of her or her kids and at the time when she was looking at all of the pictures she tried to killed her by strangling by a cable and killed her and after her death she cut her abdomen and took her baby out, because she wasn’t able to do the procedure properly she accidentally damaged the brain of baby and then she had to call 911 stating that I just gave birth to baby and he is not able to breath and that 19 years lady was killed and dumped in a garbage in their garage.

So, I think have a good neighborhood is really important because it is important that what kind of people live around us. What kind of people will be friends of younger siblings because peer also affect.  I live in a family of seven where my in which my mother, father lives and my brother who is in high school, my uncle and aunt lives with my cousin who is in elementary school. I live in west suburb of Chicago and that schools in which my cousin and my brother studies in having a really good environment when we just moved from India to United states our first language is not English but a students there were help them I would like to thank neighborhood there

We are one of the best, if not the best, places for delicious and diverse food. Deep-dish pizza, Italian beef, Indian food, Greek food, Chinese food, Indian food, Ethiopian food, you name it we got it. Great nightlife. If you like to be around people aged 21-35 then Clark Street or Division Street are full of bars and clubs and are a great place to meet people. Cultural diversity. There are so many different nationalities in this city and the surrounding suburbs. It opens your eyes to new cultures and lets you meet new and interesting people. Amazing buildings and architecture make the skyline breathtaking. Adjacent to the lake is Lake Shore and a bike trail where you can see the skyline by bike. Unlike some other cities, we did not cram everything all the way to the coast. There’s a little breathing space, THEN the buildings take over.
Navy Pier, Shedd Aquarium, Museum of Science + Industry, Art Museum, etc.
Good public transportation system that takes you to virtually all outlets of Chicago. Good for saving gas.In some areas Chicago can be dangerous – but what city of 3 million isn’t?

Weather is pretty awful. On the plus side you get 4 seasons, but winter tends to be 5-6 months, with fall and spring being one month. Summers are usually beautiful but some, like this one in particular, can be too rainy for my tastes.
